Springhill Suites By Marriott East Lansing University Area

This was our last stop on a multi-day road trip and it was just what we needed for our final night - a luxurious, comfortable, modern, friendly, welcoming and super inviting experience with amazing staff! Some notes that I made while at this location: - beautiful, new, clean, modern, comfortable - Welcomed with a couple of bottles of water, very friendly staff at the front desk - one negative is that I was promised a gluten friendly breakfast and knowledgeable staff, but that wasn’t the case. The only thing I could eat were eggs that were insanely overdone, they were like rubber discs - Requested extra pillows and blankets and everything was neatly left on the end of the bed. - Great shower, huge tv - Different options for pet friendly rooms (we got a king suite and it was so comfortable - did not disappoint - Lots of food options in the area. Great location More training on gluten friendliness is needed for this location on the front desk staff and the breakfast staff. But overall this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at and I would happily stay again if given the opportunity.

I stay here regularly on business. The reason I keep coming back is the great staff. Tiffany and Shana in the breakfast area are always extremely helpful and friendly. Taliah at the front desk is awesome and anticipates my arrival. You can tell that this hotel puts a strong emphasis on delivering great customer service, which isn’t always the case these days!

First, the staff was phenomenal! From checkin to checkout, every single staff member was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast was delightful. Make your own Belgian waffles, hot eggs, standard cereal/juices. Close to campus and other things to do in the evenings. Definitely would stay here again. I'm picky and a good staff will make or break a stay. This staff was above expectations. Kudos! Unsure why this hotel was rated 2 star (2 stars are for motels and shabby spots) by Google. Should be a 4 star...guess maybe the price makes it 2? Either way...sure didn't feel like a 2star.
